Jim Sims

Jim Sims

From Jim's brother Tom:

My brother Jim, class of 1971, died from a very fast moving cancer. He was a gentle, good man and father of two girls, one about to receive her PHD. Jim was very proud of them both. He lived in Santa Cruz. My sister, brother and I spent the last week of his life with him - a good man gone.

I'm saddened to learn about Jim's passing. We went to Lincoln School, B.I.S. and Mills. I had a long and wonderful conversation with Jim at the Mills Class of 1971 40th Reunion in 2011. What a nice guy! My condolences to Jim's family and his brother, Tom.

My sincere condolences to his family. I, like Graham went though all the schools with both Jim and his brother Tom and so had known them for a long time. Nice guys and so sorry to hear about Jim. Best wishes to Tom and the family.

Condolences to Jims family & friends. I can't remember if we had any classes together as it's been many years since we exchanged greetings on the quad. I hope Jim finds peace in the great beyond. Goodbye classmate ❣️
