Eileen Bennett Doyle, 68, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, died peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2022, at Hospice House South, Spokane, Wash., with family members by her side. The daughter of Robert Hugh Doyle and Phyllis Cliver Doyle, Eileen was born on Feb. 13, 1954, in Anderson, SC. She attended College of San Mateo, San Mateo, Calif., San Francisco State University, California State University at Los Angeles, and received a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School at Los Angeles. Eileen excelled at positions in business, administration, marketing and the law. She was most proud of her catering service, Eileen’s Cuisine. She served many clients in the Coeur d’Alene area as well as two of Idaho’s governors. A woman of many talents, Eileen loved painting, music, the beautiful outdoors, and her friends and family. Eileen is survived by her father, Robert Hugh Doyle (Nelle) of La Jolla, Calif., former husband Edmund Ian Grant (Kristi Rene) of Napa, Calif., her sister, Paula Doyle Zeanah (Charles) of New Orleans, La., her brothers Mark (Lenna) of La Jolla, Calif., Jon (Tammy) of San Diego, Calif., and Dan (Maria) of Newtown Square, Pa., her aunt Patricia Doyle Inman of Gainesville, Va., stepsister Vickie Eastman (Jesse) and stepbrother Ross McConnell (Carol) of Oregon, Ill., seven cousins, nine nieces and nephews, and four grandnieces and nephews. Eileen was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Ann Cliver Doyle, and stepmother, Beverly Ann Clark Doyle. A private celebration of life will be held by the family. Donations can be made in Eileen’s name to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center’s Neuroscience, Palliative Care, or Spiritual Care services in Spokane, Wash., the Hospice House South in Spokane, Wash., the Coeur d’Alene Animal Shelter, or Kootenai Health Cancer Patient Support.
