Richard Joseph Sarro Passed away June 1, 2011, at the age of 78, in San Bruno. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Diane, daughters Rocky Oakley, Suzanne, Sandra, and JoAnne Sarro, sons-in-law Dario Oakley, Bob Kass, and Chris Hall, and seven grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers Robert Sarro and Kenneth Meister, and survived by brothers Joseph, James, and John, uncle Victor, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins. A native San Franciscan and longtime 49ers fan, Richard worked as a teacher, counselor, and football coach at Mills High School in Millbrae. Donations may be made to a Mills High School scholarship.
