Rich was a childhood friend all the way through high school and even into adulthood. He was wise beyond his years. Always sent me a Christmas card and although we didn't see each other much after I moved from the Peninsula, we always kept in touch and would have long conversations. I realy will miss not seeing him, as the reunions were the only times we saw each other.

Rich was a friend of mine in Jr High and HS. We'd hang out at his house or the school. He seemed to be a much older mature spirit. Interesting fellow. we last spoke at the 20th reunion. He was nice enough to walk up to me and introduce himself, as I didn't recognize him at the time. Hope you are in a good place, Rich. See ya later.Mike McNamara
It's strange how you grow up 2 blocks away from someone, you both go to school, kindergarden thru high school graduation, and then you move here or they move there. Even thou you live less than 5 miles away from each other, you only get a chance to say hi as you are passing each other going into Pape Meat Company or Baskin-obbins or a Millbrae Lyons Pancake Brealfast .Everyone's life gets in the way
Rich's service was as unique as he could often be. I had forgotten over the many years that he was a big fan of Dean Martin songs ( The Rat Pack), Sammy Davis Jr, etc.
Rest in Peace Rich.
